Age 86, a son of the late Roman and Kathryn Zaehnle Kloecker. He served in the U.S. Army in WWII from 1942-1946 in the 3118th Signal Service Group attached to General Eisenhower's Headquarters in England, France and Germany. He attended Gannon College and graduated from Penn State University in 1950 with a BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering. He was employed by Erie City Iron Works and the Energy Division of Zurn Industries for 39 years. He had a wide variety of hobbies, with woodworking as his all time favorite. He was a founding member of Blessed Sacrament Church and was a volunteer with several organizations.

He is preceded in death by three sisters, Rita Kloecker, Claire Marie Staaf and Kathleen Clark and one brother, Edward Kloecker.

He is survived by his wife, Sophia Marie Florek Kloecker whom he married on October 10, 1953, two daughters, Anne Fontaine (Michael )and Maria Kloecker (Thomas) both of Erie, and four sons, Jerome Kloecker (Barbara) of Va., Peter Kloecker of Erie, Michael Kloecker (Amelia) of Saegertown and John Kloecker of Ill. (d November 27, 2018 age 52 in Chicago), 11 grandchildren, and two brothers, Paul Kloecker and Roman Kloecker, Jr. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
