Born in Taunton, she was the daughter of the late John and Julia (Mendes) Aranjo. She was a homemaker and lived in Raynham for over 50 years. She was the loving mother of five children, William Costa, Jr. of Raynham, Robin Gilbody and her husband Neal of Raynham, Rhonda Torres of Raynham, Bruce Costa and his wife Lisa of Middleboro, and Gary Costa and his wife Tracy of Bridgewater; grandmother of nine grandchildren, Melissa, Jason, Billy, Jenna, Chris, Rachel, Rebecca, Jennifer, and Jared; and great grandmother of Paige, Aiden, and Connor . She was one of twenty-two children and is survived by brother Richie, and sisters Olivia, Rosie, and Nancy (Princess) . She enjoyed spending time with her beloved dog Chai.

A memorial mass will be held at St. Ann's Church, in Raynham, on Saturday , June 21, 2014, at 10:00 a.m. Arrangements by the Crapo-Hathaway Funeral Home, Taunton.
