Ervin "Erv" Arnold Roehl, age 85, went to be in the arms of his Savior on Thursday, June 19, 2014 at his home in Sunnyside, WA. Erv was born on June 18, 1929 in New Leipzig, North Dakota the son of William Reinhold and Rosalia (Wagner) Roehl.

He received his early education in New Leipzig, North Dakota and graduated from Sunnyside High School with the class of 1976. He later attended Business College. On February 23, 1957 Erv married Louise Marie Walker at the Neighborhood Assembly of God Church in Sunnyside, WA. Erv was a carpenter and truck driver for most of his working years. He also enjoyed spending time doing woodworking, remodeling and mechanical work on cars, and hunting trips.

Erv was a member of the Neighborhood Assembly of God Church Sunnyside, WA and attended the First Christian Church in the later years. He loved spending time with his family especially his nineteen grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife Louise Marie Roehl of Sunnyside, WA. Five sons, Mike Roehl of Sunnyside, WA; Russell Roehl (Stephanie) of West Port, WA; Matthew Roehl (Laura) of Spokane, WA; Randolph Roehl (Rhonda) of Mabton, WA and Scott Roehl (Lorena) of Prosser, WA. He is also survived by nineteen grandchildren, three brothers Reuben Roehl of Yakima, WA; Ronald Roehl of Benton City, WA and Dennis Roehl of Helena, MT; three sisters Evelyn Thompson of Yakima, WA; Verna Sweregen of Ruppert, ID and Eileen Olson of Clancy MT. He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Rosalia Roehl one brother, Allen Roehl and sister, Betty Zuvela.

Viewing and visitation will be held on at the Smith Funeral Home Sunnyside, WA. Funeral Service will be held at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Sunnyside, WA.
