He was owner and operator of Broome's Hobby Shop. Visiting at Hollabaugh-Spindle Wooddale Memorial Chapel, 8 a.m. until religious services at 2 p.m. Friday, conducted by the Rev. Ron Lamb. Burial in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Survived by wife, Ruby W. Broome, Baton Rouge; a son, David W. Broome, Baton Rouge; a sister, Hazel Anthume, Bogalusa; three grandchildren, Wade Broome, Rene Kummerow and Rachel Juneau; and seven great-grandchildren. He was a member of Fairfield Masonic Lodge.
