Verna Doris TESKE born 7 May 1922 in Delmont, Douglas County, South Dakota was the youngest daughter of Daniel "Dan" TESKE and Rosina SPITZER.

Verna married Sylvester A "Sy" SCHWIESOW on the 8th of September 1946 at Chamberlain, Brule County, South Dakota. Their marriage was blessed with 4 children; Darlene, Norman, Nila and Nancy.

Verna and "Sy" retired in 1980 and moved to Mesa, Maricopa County, Arizona.
