Reuscher Dies At Farm Home
George Reuscher, resident of the Lodi district for the past 18 years, passed away yesterday afternoon at the family home, Route 1, Box 389, Lodi. He was born at Norka, Russia, September 2, 1859, and was 83 years of age.
Mr. Reuscher came to the United Statyes with his parents in 1875. They settled at Peltesville, Ohio, where they reained for two years. Then they moved to Hastings, Nebraska, where in 1882 Mr. Reuscher and Miss Christina Burback were married.
In November, 1884, they went to Kansas and remained there until 1924, when they came to Lodi. Mrs. Reuscher passed away August 15, 1940.
Four sons and seven daughters were born of their union. One died in infancy. Those surviving are Mrs. Mary Engel, Joe Reuscher, Manuel Reuscher, Mrs. Anna Schnell, Conrad Reuscher, Mrs. Margaret Ehrhardt, Mrs. Rebecca Derringer, Mrs. Hannah Youmg, Mrs. Martha Schwenner, Abraham Reuscher. He was the brother of Martin an Louis Reuscher.
