Margaret Louise (Peggy) Richardson, 60, R.R.8, Greensburg, where she had resided all her married life, died at 6 p.m. Friday in the IOOF Nursing Home, having been in failing health the past few years and seriously ill three weeks.
Mrs. Richardson was born May 19, 1922, in Tucson, Ariz., the daughter of J. Barton and Margaret Miller McLaughlin. She was a laboratory technician at Lily before her marriage, and a graduate of Purdue University where she was a member of Pi Phi sorority. She was married to Robert H. Richardson April 20, 1948, in Greensburg and was a member of the Springhill Presbyterian Church and the Sigma Chapter of Psi Iota Xi.
She is survived by her husband; a daughter, Nancy Richardson, Muscatatuck; and a son, Thomas Richardson, at home; two brothers: James C. McLaughlin, R.R.9, Greensburg and William G. McLaughlin, Ft. Meyers, Fla.; and one sister, Mrs. Berk (Mary) Brunsbon, Dallas, Texas.
The services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at the Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home with Dr. Charles Baxter officiating, and with burial in the South Park Cemetery. Friends may call after 3 p.m. Sunday. The family suggests that memorials be in the form of donations to the Decatur County Cancer Fund.
