Grace (Lawrence) Lewis Hynes Daniels

Grace Hynes Daniels was born in Bristol, N.Y., on December 8, 1894, a daughter of John and Emma Dieter Lawrence. Mrs. Daniels was a member of the Sparta Center United Methodist Church, the Livingston County Home Bureau and the Scottsburg Grange. She and her husband Ross Hynes had worked a farm at Reeds Corners for many years which she continued after his death. Most recently she had lived on West Avenue in Dansville.

Mrs. Daniels died January 1, 1991 in Highland Hospital at Rochester following a short illness. She was 96. She was predeceased by three husbands; Glen V. Lewis in 1920, Ross Hynes in 1952 and Earl Daniels in 1979. She was also predeceased by a son, Glenn V. Lewis Jr. and two step-sons, Cecil Hynes and Dwight Daniels. Surviving were three sons, a step-son, a brother of Dansville; 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Burial was in Village Cemetery, Wayland.
