PFC. KIA. 1st Infantry Division, US Army. PFC Samuel Connelly was killed in an enemy sapper assault on a communications complex atop Nu Ba Den (Black Virgin Mountain), Tay Ninh, along with 24 other soldiers. He was awarded the Bronze Star and Purple Heart Medals. PFC Connelly is remembered on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall at Panel 59E, Row 019.
