Walter E. Przygoda, 86 years old, formerly of Taunton, died on Saturday June 28, 2014 in the Oakland Grove Heath Care Center, Woosocket, RI. He was born in Taunton, son of the late Joseph and Anelia (Izdebska) Przygoda. Walter was educated in Taunton Schools, was a 1946 graduate of Taunton High. He was also a graduate of Bryant College. Walter taught school in Hyde Park for a number of years. He was a master of many industries, as he held licenses in real estate, insurance and electrical work. Walter served in the US Army during WW II. He served in Japan with the 583rd Engineers, being discharged in 1948. Walter is survived by his sisters, Helen Lichacz of Taunton, Stephanie Slapik of Brockton, Ann Pasiuk of Duxbury and Amelia Drozdowski and her husband Edward of Cumberland, RI. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Rosary Church, Bay St, on Saturday July 12, 2014 at 10AM. Interment of his cremains will be in St Joseph's Cemetery, Taunton. Visiting hours are omitted. Donations in his memory may be made to Beacon Hospice,(East Providence Care Center) 1 Catamore Blve., East Providence, RI 02914.
