Jeanne Clare Schneider, was born on June 1, 1924 to Peter and Eva Jonas in Alton Iowa, took her walk with God on Monday, July 7, 2014.
Jeanne married Donald Schneider on February 1, 1942 and resided in Alton, IA until 1989 when they retired to Albuquerque, NM.
They enjoyed their many good friends in both places. In Jeanne's life, there were three things most important to her, her faith, her friends and especially, her family.
Jeanne was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Schneider, her parents, Peter and Eva Jonas, her three sisters, Mildred Sanders, Joanie Stanley and Bernice Hasert and her five brothers, Victor, Ivo, Peter Jr., Aloysisus ‘Buddy' and Zeno.
Jeanne is survived by her three children, Richard and his wife, Julie of Grand Prairie, TX, Robert and his wife, Julie of Sun Lakes, AZ and Donna Harris of Albuquerque, NM, one sister, Charmaine Johnstone, sister-in-law, Dorothy Jonas, grandchildren, Kime and her husbnd, Brad of Ft. Worth TX, Stacy Schneider of Ft. Worth, TX, John Harris of Sacramento, CA and Tim Harris of Albuquerque, NM, great-grandchildren, Jacob and Nathan Pierce, Lila, Landry and Laney Schneider, Katie, Maggie, Will and Lillie Schneider and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank Amber Care Hospice and their staff for their services. Burial will be held at Gate of Heaven Cemetery at a later date.
