Leonhard Martin Maron was born on December 18, 1887 in Reischevo, county Jablova, Province Warsaw Prussia (now Poland.) His parents were Robert and Julianna Maron. Leonhard came to America in 1906 with his brother Wilhelm. They settled in Buffalo, New York, where he met Anna Boelke. They were married on September 6, 1913 and all six of their children were born in Buffalo. During WWII, in 1944, Leonhard and Anna moved to southern California along with five children. Leonhard was gifted in the creative arts, especially metalworking. He passed suddenly on November 3, 1954, at age 66 in his home in Temple City, CA.
