Passed away in Humboldt District Hospital, Humboldt, SK, at the age of 71.

He was born on May 26, 1943 in the St. Gregor District. He was raised on the family farm, and attended Sjolie School until grade 8. He then worked for various farmers including Good Earth Stock Farms. In 1967, Gordon bought his own homestead, and later on, began working at Doepker Industries. In 1976, Gordon married his wife and lived on the family farm until 2007, when they moved to Humboldt.

Funeral Mass: St. Augustine R.C. Church, Humboldt, on Saturday, July 19, 2014, at 10:30 a.m.
Interment: St. Augustine R.C. Cemetery, Humboldt. Memorial donation directed to either the Canadian Cancer Society or Saskatoon Health Region – Palliative Care Program.
Arrangements: Schuler-Lefebvre Funeral Chapel, Humboldt, SK.
