The former Helen Meffert was born on Oct. 31, 1917, in Waunakee to Frank and Mary (Endres) Meffert. She was married to Reuben Ellickson in 1939, and he preceded her in death in 1991.
Helen had been employed at the Waunakee Canning Co. as a cook and also at Arts Orchard in Waunakee.
She loved her Wednesday afternoon card dub and was also a member of St. John's Catholic Church.
