In 1861 Christina (11) and her sister Elizabeth (9) were living with their Aunt Isabella Rait (35) (1823 - May 1908), who was their father's sister, at 19 Virginia Street, Aberdeen, where both sisters were scholars.

Christina married her cousin: John Christie Cameron (his mother was her father's sister) and they had 7 children together but lost 5 in infancy:

Elizabeth Cameron (1869-1871) 14 months,
John Christie Cameron Jr (1871-72) 11 months,
Margaret Jane Cameron (1872-74) 2 years,

Christina Cameron (1882-?)
Duncan Cameron (20.8.1883-1927) age 44, and
John Christie Cameron Jr II (1889-89) 5 months.

In 1881 Christina (32) and John (36) were living at 18 Virginia Street, Aberdeen having lost their first 4 children.

In 1891 the family were still living at 18 Virginia Street, Aberdeen: John (45) Ship wright, Christina (43), Christina (9) and Duncan (7) with Isabella Rait (62) living with them during this census (who was aunt to both John and Christina).

Following her husband's death in 1891, Christina passed away at age 46.
