HOUNSELL.
W.H. Hounsell died at his home in Rockville Friday p.m. at 5 o'clock after an illness of a few days. The funeral took place at the residence Sunday morning at 10 o'clock, Rev. E.M. Corey, of Potosi, preaching an appropriate sermon. The Masons, Odd Fellows, and G.A.R. of which the deceased was an honored member, attended the funeral. The Masonic Order took charge of the ceremonies at the grave, in the Boice Prairie cemetery, Col. Jno G. Clark being Master of Ceremonies. The procession to the cemetery was on of the longest ever seen in this part of the country, reaching nearly a mile. The deceased was respected by all who knew him.
