Josephine Charlotte Hartung, 92, Kimball, died Monday, Sept. 21, 2009, at Aurora-Brule Nursing Home, White Lake.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Margaret's Catholic Church, Kimball. Burial will be in St. Margaret's Catholic Cemetery, Kimball. Visitation will be from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. today at the church with a 7:30 p.m. wake service.

Shearer-Mount Funeral Chapel, Kimball, is assisting with arrangements.
She was born on Feb. 17, 1917, in Kimball to Leonard and Lotty (Dryer) Stuntebeck.

She graduated from Springfield Normal School and taught for 37 years in the Kimball area.

On Oct. 17, 1942, she married Henry "Tiny" Hartung at St. Margaret's Catholic Church in Kimball.

They lived in Highland Township south of Kimball, where they farmed until her husband's death on May 27, 1997.

She was a member of St. Margaret's Catholic Church and the Catholic Daughters, serving as a past CDA regent.

She is survived by two nieces and a nephew.
