CONNERSVILLE - Joseph G. Bischoff, 96, formerly of 2360 W. Williams Road, died Wednesday, Aug. 30, 1995, at Lincoln Center West, Connersville, where he had resided since November 1990.

He was born Oct. 2, 1898, In Saint Peters to Joseph G. and Elizabeth Kafer Bischoff. He came to Fayette County in 1925 and farmed in the area before retiring in 1985. He was married Feb. 16, 1929, to Anna Snyder of Fayette County. She died March 13, 1951.

He was a member of St. Gabriel Church and the Fayette County Farm Bureau.

Survivors include two sons, Lawrence Bischoff, with whom he had made his home, and Clarence Bischoff, both of Fayette County; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded In death by two sisters, Mary Bischoff and Clara Wiwi, and one brother, Albert Bischoff.

Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 2, at St. Gabriel Church. Burial will be In Dale Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today, Sept. 1, at Miller Funeral Home, where scriptural service will be at 7:45 p.m.
