Palmer-Ritchie Post 153, American Legion, conducted military rites at Mound Cemetery at 3:30 p.m. Monday for Louis Mundt, 52, Baraboo, who died Friday morning. Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church in Baraboo.
Mr. Mundt was born at Pittsville on Nov. 5, 1919, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Mundt. He married Nadine Darrow at Pittsville on Sept. 29, 1951 and they farmed near Marshfield for 15 years before moving to Baraboo three years ago.
Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Anna Mundt, Rt. 2, Pittsville; his wife and son, William, Baraboo; three step children, Richard Russ, Racine; Mrs. James Lang, Marshfield; and Mrs. Willis Loeck, Mount Calvary; four brothers, Emil and Gust, Pittsville; Walter, Wisconsin Rapids, and Oswald, Milwaukee, and one sister, Mrs. Margaret Roenneburg, Rt. 2, Pittsville.
