Daughter of Lorenzo Guebara and Elena Gonzales

Wife of William DeBrelle Allred Jr.

She went dancing and leaping and praising God…on August 13, 2014. Emma Jane Allred, 90, was born on February 22, 1924 to Lorenzo Guebara and Elena Gonzales Guebara in Jicarilla, New Mexico. She married William DeBrelle Allred on November 26, 1952. They were married for 60 years. Jane was a woman of many talents. An accomplished artist, her paintings grace the walls of Erhling Berquist Hospital at Offutt Air Force Base, Bellevue, Nebraska and the walls of many private homes and offices. Mrs. Allred loved people and made many life-long friends from coast to coast as a military wife. She taught Spanish to many families who were being assigned to bases in Spanish speaking areas. An expert seamstress, she worked at Ft. Stanton, NM. A talented eye for floral design made her a popular employee at Nancy's Floral Creations in Bellevue, Nebraska. She was an active member in Catholic parishes at all of their duty assignments, including Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Capitan, New Mexico. Jane's greatest legacy will be her evangelical spirit and her ministry to bring people to Christ. Not only would she pray for those who asked for intercession, she also prayed for those she sensed were in need. Mrs. Allred was preceded in death by her husband William D. Allred, grandsons, William G. Allred, Brandon Allred, Christopher Allred, great-grandson Cody Skokan, great grand-daughter, Emma Muse-Allred, her parents, brothers: Romualdo Guebara, Julian Guebara, Albert Guebara, Alvino Guebara, Pablo Pino.
