Mr Rueter was employed for many years by Dick Bros. and Ruff Brueries, and later by Gardner Denver Co., He was a veteran of World War I, a number of the American Legion, and Machinists Local 822. A son of Frank and Carrie Warmker Rueter. He was born in Quincy (July 26 1892). He was married here (Feb 7 1920) to Mary Strieker who died (March 10 1962).
Surviving are three daughters, a son, nine grand children. A sister, Nieces and Nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, and four sisters Elizabeth, Clara, Bertha, and Annie.
