He was an Army veterans of World War II as an Air Force mechanic. He married Alice Blote in 1923 and they had one son. Later he married Lydia (Seabury) Peterson. They lived in St. Paul, Minnesota until about 15 years ago when they moved to Arizona.
He was preceded in death by his parents. Bunker's Desert View Chapel arranged the private service.
