Port Lavaca: Estha Williams, 98 passed from this life to her Heavenly Home on Monday, August 25, 2014. She was born in Fayette County Texas on August 16, 1916 to the late Erwin and Emma Gerdes Schmidt. Estha retired from CCISD after 30 years, working at Jefferson and Madison as a Secretary. She loved to knit, crochet and play dominoes. She volunteered at the Senior Citizen Bakery when it was on Main St. Estha was a life member of Eastern Star and a faithful member of Salem Lutheran Church.
She is survived by her daughter Vera Ruth Hahn (Leroy) of Port Lavaca; brothers, William Arvin Williams (Susan) of Meridian, and Stanley Dale Williams (LeeAnn) of Jacksonville, AK; 10 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, 10 great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Arnold John Williams, three sisters, one brother and one granddaughter.
Burial will follow services at Port Lavaca Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be family members.
