Isabella Iris Wothe, 85, of Cosmos, Minnesota, died Monday, June 22, 2009, at Birchwood Hospice House in Hutchinson.
She was born Dec. 11, 1923, to Herman and Martha (King) Mueller of Frazee. She received her education at District 84 near Frazee.
She married Theodore Wothe on April 23, 1946. For 33 years, they were in the grocery business in Cosmos. She worked for 10½ years at Suttle Apparatus in Hector.
She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church and was active with PLCW. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and the Commercial Club. She lived in Cosmos for 60 years until moving to Burns Manor Nursing Home in Hutchinson in March. She moved to Birchwood Hospice House in April.
Survivors include her children: Ron and Kitty; five grandchildren; three step grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband and one brother.
