Lula Elrena Beck, 90, of Colcord, Okla., died Tuesday, July 26, 2005, in Rose, Okla. She was born June 8, 1915, in Jennings, Okla., to John King and Nan Blagg King. She was a lifetime resident of Colcord and a homemaker. She worked for Plus Poultry and was a nurse's aid at Woodland Manor in Siloam Springs, Ark. She was a member of the Countryside Bible Church in Colcord, where she was active in the ladies quilting group. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ross Beck, in October 1998; and an infant son, Dennis Levine Beck.
Survivors include four sons, Charles "Zenith" Beck of Marydel, Del., Ross Gale Beck of Peggs, Okla., Danny Paul Beck of Jay, Okla., and Ronnie Dean Beck of Wellington, Kan.; four daughters, Laveta Joyce Coker of Colcord, Janice Coleen Sloan of Peggs, Brenda Kay Sinor of Leach, Okla., and Rhonda Jean Hollenback of Oaks, Okla.; a sister-in-law, Deamer Thompson of Siloam Springs, Ark.; 19 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, July 31, at Wasson Funeral Home of Siloam Springs, Ark.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Aug. 1, at the Draper Community Center in Colcord with Brother Edward Billups and Brother Loren Scott Beck.
Burial will be at the Row Cemetery in Colcord.
