Aberdeen - Mass of Christian Burial for Isabell D. "Tookie" Brink, 90, of Aberdeen will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 8, 2006, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Aberdeen. Burial will follow at Riverside Memorial Park. Father Gregory Tschakert will be officiating. Schriver's Memorial Mortuary & Crematory, Aberdeen is in charge of arrangements. There will be a Liturgical Wake Service 6 p.m., Tuesday, March 7, 2006, followed by a Catholic Order of Foresters Rosary at Schriver's Memorial Mortuary. Visitation will be 3-7 p.m. Tuesday at the mortuary and one hour prior to the service at the church, Wednesday. Isabell passed away Saturday, March 4, 2006, at Avera Mother Joseph Manor. Isabell Doris Brink was born Nov. 11, 1915, to Ivan and Ruth (Joslin) Brink at Mankato, Minn. At a young age, she moved with her family to Aberdeen where she was raised and attended St. Mary's Parochial School. Isabell owned and operated the Toy Chest in downtown Aberdeen for many years. Isabell later reopened the business as the Hobby Nook which she operated until her retirement. Isabell was a life time member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, and was a member of the Catholic Order of Foresters for many years. Isabell enjoyed working in her flower gardens and crocheting. Surviving Isabell are three sisters, Iva Brink of Aberdeen, Helen Crabtree of Aberdeen and Ida (Ben) Reis of McAllen, Texas and many nieces and nephews. Isabel was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Betty L. Stein and one brother, Ivan "Bob" Brink. Pallbearers will be James Brink, Bryan Brink, Donald Brink, Brad Reis, Jeff Stein and Benjamin Zerr.
