He was born July 3, 1893 (or July 2, 1894) in Catasaukua, Lehigh co, PA, formerly of No. Catasaukua, Northampton co, PA.the son of Robert Washington Clewell & Harriet B. Markly /Markle. He died April 24, 1958 age 63 in East Cleveland, of 14808 Alder Avenue, East Cleveland, OH.
Mary's funeral was Friday, Nov. 29, 1929 from August F. Svetek Funeral Home, 478 E. 152d Street. Edson's funeral was Wednesday, Feb. 7, 1934 at S. H. Johnston Funeral Home, 15314 McCauley Ave. corner of E. 152 and Lake Shore Blvd. Both were buried in Knollwood Cemetery.
