She married Peter Gregorius in Becherbach, Germany, December 28, 1876. The two witnesses at their wedding were 35 year old Reinhold Wilhelmy of Becherbach, a Barber, and 58 year old Johannes Brumm, a Teacher.
Susanna and Peter made their home in Becherbach and had three children but the youngest two: Selma and Lawrence died in infancy during the diphtheria epidemic in Germany.
In 1880 Susannah, Peter and their oldest daughter Frieda who was three years old, left Germany and immigrated to America, making their home in Salina Kansas, where they lived the rest of their lives.
Susannah was a lifetime member of the German Lutheran Church and belonged to St. John's Lutheran Church in Salina. Susannah and Peter Gregorius are buried together at Gypsum Hill Cemetery, Saline County.

Mrs. Gregorius Died at Her Home This Morning
Mrs. Susannah Luise Gregorius, a resident of Salina for 31 years, died at her home at 316 South Fourth Street at 6.00 o'clock yesterday evening. Mrs. Gregorius was nearly 70 years of age, having been born in Germany on March 19, 1846. Later she came to America, the family settling in this county in 1880. Her husband Peter Gregorius, her daughter Mrs. Frieda Louis Hepner, and her granddaughter Frances Adella Dorothy Hepner, of Salina, survive her.
The funeral service will be held tomorrow afternoon at the residence 316 South Fourth.
