Held By Couple In County
Open house and a supper were held during the week end in honor of the golden wedding of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Miller, Rt. 1 Oostburg.
Twenty-five guests were entertained at the banquet supper at the couple's home Friday evening. A large wedding cake and tapers were table decorations. Friday also marked the 25th wedding anniversary of the celebrants' son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Herbst, Town Wilson. Following the supper, the Rev. Arlo Krueger spoke in honor of the couples. Many bouquets and plants, cards, money and additional gifts were received by the golden jubilarians. The grandchildren presented Mrs. Miller with a corsage and her husband was given a boutonniere.
Sunday afternoon and evening, open house was held at the home. Guests from other cities were Chaplain and Mrs. Robert Klewin, Tacoma, Wash.; Mr. and Mrs. Harold Denig and Nancy, Morrison, Ill.; Miss Edna Moenning, Chicago, Ill.; Mr. and Mrs. Lester Hessler and family, Milwaukee, and others from Sheboygan, Sheboygan Falls, Kohler, Newton, Cleveland, Oostburg, Cedar Grove and Town Wilson.
Mrs. Miller, nee Mary Roehrborn, was born Nov. 3, 1876, in Town Wilson, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Roehrborn. Birth of her husband occurred Jan. 15, 1876, on the Miller homestead in Town Wilson. His parents were Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Miller.
June 18, 1904, is the date of the couple's marriage in Trinity Lutheran Church, Town Wilson, before the Rev. Herman Schmidt. Attendants at the wedding who were present for the golden evening are Mr. and Mrs. Henry Roehrborn, Town Wilson, and Mrs. Ida Anderson, Sheboygan.
Farming was the occupation of Mr. Miller. Both he and his wife are in good health and are members of Trinity Lutheran Church, Town Wilson. Mrs. Miller is a charter member of the Ladies' Aid Society.
Besides the couple's daughter, Mrs. Stella Herbst, there is a son, Marlin, on the homestead, and four grandchildren, Norbert and Keith Herbst, Marion and Richard Miller, in the family circle.

Last rites for Mrs. Albert Miller, Oostburg, R. 1, who died Friday at Sheboygan Memorial Hospital, were held at Trinity Lutheran Church, Town Wilson, Monday afternoon. The Rev. W. C. Stoehr conducted the services, and burial was in Lutheran Cemetery, Sheboygan.
Pallbears were Frank Bock, Walter Roehrborn, Lester Janko, Wilbert Rammer, Alvin Heyer and Melvin Nack.
During the services the Trinity Mixed Choir, accompanied on the organ by Mrs. Anthony Gartmann, sang "Abide with Me" and "A Faithful Shepherd Is My Lord."
