"BOARDMAN — Nancy S. Koehler, 76, of Southwestern Run, died Sunday morning (July 30) at her residence. Miss Koehler was born June 15, 1930 in Youngstown, a daughter of Paul and Phoebe Trigg Koehler, and was a life long area resident. She retired in 1992 with more than 30 years experience as a medical technician with the North Side and South Side Hospitals. Miss Koehler was a graduate of South High School and Baldwin Wallace College. She was a lifelong member of St. John Episcopal Church, where she was a member of its Boar’s Head Ladies Group and the Altar Guild. She was a member of the Miriam Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star Auxiliary, where she served as the Dining Room Chairperson, the L.B. Circle and the M.B’s Golden Stars. She also was a member of the Ladies Tuesday Golf League at Mohawk Trails Golf Course and golfed on Fridays with the ladies group at Whispering Pines Golf Course. She enjoyed machine embroidery, playing cards and most of all, spending time with her family and friends. She leaves a brother, Paul (Angela) Koehler of Lyndhurst; a nephew, Joseph (Mary Jeanne) Koehler of Kirtland; and two great-nieces, Colleen and Kimberley Koehler, and a great-nephew, Timothy Koehler, all of Kirtland.
She was preceded in death by her parents. Family and friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Poland Chapel, where there will be an Order of the Eastern Star service at 7:45 p.m. There will be funeral services at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. John Episcopal Church, 323 Wick Ave., Youngstown, OH 44503, where friends may call one hour prior to the service. Memorial donations may be given in Miss Koehler’s name to the St. John Episcopal Church, 323 Wick Ave., Youngstown, OH 44503. Condolences may be sent at www.beckerobits.com."
