Mrs. Katherine Leibold

Mrs. Katherine C. Leibold, 85, died at 10 p.m. yesterday in the Monroe Convalescent Center where she had been for the past six years. Mrs. Leibold had been in poor health for several years. Friends may call after 7 p.m. today in the Liedel Funeral Home, Maybee, where services will be at 8:45 a.m. Monday and at 9 a.m. in St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Maybee. The Rev. Lambert LaVoy will officiate and burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Maybee. Rosary services will be at 8 p.m. tomorrow in the funeral home. The daughter of Patrick and Francis O'Brien, she was born March 31, 1888 in Whittaker, Mich. On May 13, 1911, she married Benjamin J. Leibold in Whittaker and he preceded her in death in 1944. Surviving are two sons, Lawrence Leibold on Monroe and Benjamin Leibold, Jr. of Carleton; a daughter, Mrs. Charles (Alberta) Ramsey of Monroe; six grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Leibold was preceded in death by three brothers.
