SPENCERVILLE - Howard Brooks, 75, of 409 S. Broadway died 5:15 a.m. today in Roselawn Nursing Home.
Born in Allen County Nov. 16, 1894, he was the son of Robert and Albina Dunn Brooks. He was married in 1914 to Ethel Stout and she survives.
Also surviving are four sons, Raymond of Rt. 2, Delphos, Harold of Rt. 4, Cridersville, and Donald and Howard, both of Spencerville; a daughter, Mrs. John (Ruth) McDonel of 505 N. Cornell Dr., Lima; a brother, John of Rt. 2; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was a member of Hartford Christian Church.
Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home, Rev. Leonard Spacht and Rev. Fara Laman officiating. Burial will be in Hartford Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 tonight.
