Barbara Sue Piercy was born September 12, 1950 and departed this life Saturday, August 30, 2014 reaching the age of 63 years. She was the daughter of the late Marshall and Dorothy (Bell) Bertram.
She married Harold Eugene Piercy and to this union one child was born.
She is survived by: her daughter, Barbara “Regina” Abbott; brothers, Wallace, Billy, and Warren Bertram; and sisters, Brenda Kay Abbott and Kathy Ferrell; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.
In addition to her parents, Marshall and Dorothy Bertram, she was preceded in death by: her husband, Harold Eugene Piercy; one brother, Bobby Bertram; and one sister, Bonnie Piercy.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 3, 2014 after 5:30pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 4, 2014 at 1pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
