Werner Charles Fuhrken age 84 died on Thursday, September 25, 2014 at his residence following an extended illness.
Werner was born on February 10, 1930 in Orange Grove, Texas to Henry Charles and Bertha (Bues) Fuhrken.
Hardworking family man, electrician by trade, farmer and rancher. He was loved and will be missed by many.
Werner was an Officer of Catholic Life Ins, Co, Branch 19 for many years, and a Life-long Member of St. John of the Cross Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife: Evelyn Fuhrken, a son John Allen Fuhrken.
Survivors include his two sons: Glenn (Julie) Fuhrken of Orange Grove, Texas and Barry Fuhrken of Bishop, Texas; four daughters: Wanda (Roger) Speis of Woodsboro, Texas, Dolly (Chuck) Grimes of Orange Grove, Texas, Pam (Scotty) Herschap of Orange Grove, Texas, Rosalind Fuhrken of Orange Grove, Texas; Sister, Hertha Buehring of Orange Grove, Texas; 19 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren.
Burial will follow mass in the Orange Grove Cemetery.
