The funeral for Agnes Beck, 90, of Devils Lake will be held Wed. at the Bethel Evangelical Free Church in Devils Lake. Interment will be in the Albert- Immanuel Church Cemetery, rural Maddock.
Pallbearers will be James Hanson, Michael Olson, Larry Barko, Paul Hanson, John Olson, Edward Schmid & Brian Beck, all nephews. The Gilbertson Funeral Home of Devils Lake is in charge of arrangements.
Agnes Cornelia Beck was born Feb. 22, 1901 in Albert Township of Benson County near Maddock, the daughter of Anton & Oline Bratvold Beck. She was reared & educated there. She was later employed at the Odd Fellows Home in Devils Lake for 53 years. She lived at the Odd Fellows Home until she entered the Lake Region Lutheran Home in 1987.
She was baptized & confirmed in the Albert-Immanuel Lutheran Church. She was a member pf the Bethel Evangelical Free Church of Devils Lake & its women's association.
Survivors include 4 brothers, Conrad & Phillip of Maddock & Harold & Stephen of Everett, Wash.; & 2 sisters, Bertha Hiaasen & Mrs. Holger (Ida) Olson of Minnewaukan.
She was preceded in death by her parents; 4 brothers, Alvin, Fredrick, Einas & Rudolph; & 3 sisters, Alvilde, Elsie & Olivia.
