DYERSVILLE, Iowa - Alma C. Wieferich, 81, of Dyersville, died at 2:25 a.m. Friday, Aug. 29, 2003, at Mercy Medical Center-Dubuque.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Francis Xavier Basilica, Dyersville, with the Rev. Douglas Loecke officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 8 to 11 a.m. Monday at Reiff Funeral Home, Dyersville.
She worked as a dental assistant for many years.
She was born on Jan. 12, 1922, in Dyersville, daughter of Henry Sr. and Eva (Trenkamp) Wieferich. She received her education at St. Francis School, Dyersville.
She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Basillica, Dyersville.
Surviving are many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a brother, John Wieferich; three sisters, Rose Lasche, Emma Lahr and Lucille Uhlenkamp; two stepbrothers, Henry Wieferich Jr. and Frank Wieferich; and two stepsisters, Mary Digman and Theresa Meyers.
