Mrs. Katherine Racz (nee McKay), beloved wife of Paul Racz of Calgary, passed away at her residence on January 15, 1999 at the age of 74 years. Katherine was born May 15, 1924 in Redclrff. Alberta. Besides her loving husband, Katherine is survived by eight children, Jean and Gary Scotton of Calgary, Shirley and Gene Davis of Strathmore, Paul and Charleen Racz, Ron and Chris Racz, Don and Debbie Racz, Lorna Meier and Mel Metzger, Carrie and Brent Boesch, Lori McBumie and Kim Metzger, all of Calgary; eleven grandchildren, James, Tammy, Joe, Audrey, Nicole, Lori, Christopher, Kari, Kayla, Trevor and Travis. She is also survived by her sister Rose Cornish; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Mrs. Racz was predeceased by her parents and by three brothers. Funeral Services held at Mclnnis & Holloway's 'Chapel of the Bells' (2720 Centre Street North), on Thursday, January 21, 1999 at 1:00 p.m. with Susan Wilkinson Mafficks L.M. of Ogden United Church officiating. Graveside Service followed at Queen's Park Cemetery.
