According to an online family tree, William was the son of Jacob August Eisbrenner and Albertina Hintz or Hinz (Jacob is listed on his brother's death certificate)*. His family at some point lived in Sergejufka (Sierhiejówka). He was probably born in either Terespol like his cousin Marie, Marianowka like her daughter Bertha, or Sergejufka. His only known sibling that immigrated to the United States was Julius Gustav Eisbrenner. His father is believed to be a son of Wilhelm August Eisbrenner. No records can be found for the birth of Julius or his brother Wilhelm. No record can be found of their parents marriage. His cousin was Marie Eisbrenner Hackbart who also came to Philadelphia.

His WW1 draft registration gives a birthdate of April 17 1892. His WW2 draft registration says March 15 1892 and he gave his name as Willhelm. He wrote 'Rowei', Russia for his birthplace. This was probably meant to be Rowno, Russia-Poland, much of which is actually present day Ukraine and Poland (not Russia). William immigrated to Baltimore on SS Frankfurt on October 16 1913.

His wife was Otillie Hackbart. They had the following known children:

1-Wanda Eisbrenner Halleman (1916-2004)
2-Elsie Eisbrenner (1918-1996) married Harry Joseph Rothenbach (1908-1981)
3-Karl Walter Eisbrenner (Sept 22 1922-June 2012 CA) first married Theresa Catherine Czuan in 1948, daughter of John Czuan and Elizabeth Udwarr; second married Loretta A. Oross in 1961
4-Joseph Eisbrenner (Sept 1 1925- Nov 22 2004 Northampton) married to Mary Ann Ruiz (1928-Jan 23 2004 PA), daughter of Manuel Ruiz and Mary Helen Ladik
5-Jeanne Eisbrenner Bucjs (Oct 9 1929- July 27 2007 Bethlehem) married Ernest P. Bujcs (son of Joseph Bucjs Sr. and Rose Barbay- both of Hungary) on Jan 14 1950 in Allentown
6-Baby Girl Eisbrenner (Sept 16 1931-Sept 16 1931)

He was a retired laborer residing in a nursing home when he died after suffering a stroke at age 56.

*His parents names are listed as 'unknown' on his death certificate. On his social security application his parents are listed as August Eisbrenner and Hintz. His father August Eisbrenner was also listed on his ship passenger manifest as paying his fare and residing in Sergejufka. The death certificate of his brother Julius lists only father Jacob, who was called August on his ship passenger manifest. One Ancestry tree states that the full name of his father was Jacob August and William's mother's name is given as Albertina.
