Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Francis Xavier Basilica, Dyersville, with burial in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 9 p.m. today at Kramer Funeral Home, Dyersville, where there will be an Order of Martha rosary at 4 p.m. and a parish scripture service at 7 p.m.
Helen was a switchboard operator for GTE and also worked at the MM Hoffmann Library.
She was born on Dec. 10, 1909, in Dyersville, daughter of Jacob and Josephine (Lueck) Krapfl.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Order of Martha for many years.
Surviving are nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Otto and Albert Krapfl; and four sisters, Molly Demmer, Nellie Drees and Nettie and Marie Krapfl.
A Helen Krapfl Memorial Fund has been established.
