DICKINSON- Lorraine Weible, 80, St. Benedict Health Care Center, Dickinson, formerly of Hebron died April 29, 2006, at the Health Care Center. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 4, at First Baptist Church, Hebron, with the Revs. David Ling and Herbert Schauer, officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Bismarck.

Lorraine was born Jan. 23, 1926, on the family farm in rural Hebron, the daughter of Wella and Rosina (Sayler) Heinle. She was raised on the farm and educated in a country school. She worked in Bismarck as a waitress and later at Hoskins Meyer in the photography department. She married August Weible June 24, 1948, at the Baptist Church in Hebron. They moved to Yakima, Wash., where Lorraine worked in a Drapery Shop and later in the fruit industry.

Following the death of her husband in September 1988, Lorraine moved back to Hebron. She was an active member of the First Baptist Church the Choir, and taught Sunday school. She enjoyed writing poetry, reading, and listening to country and gospel music. In 1996, she moved to Dickinson, and in April 2001, she entered St. Benedict's where she has resided since.

She is survived by one sister; Alma Pluth, Dickinson, and sister-in-law, Tillie Heinle, Minot, Edna Heinle, Farmington, Minn., Ruth Ingram, Esther Muxlow, Arlene Zahler, and Elmer and Albert Weible, all of Washington and Barbara Stevens from Idaho; and numerous loving nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parent; her husband, four brothers, Alvin, Jacob, Herbert, and Reinhold Heinle and four sisters, Elsie Sailer, Annie Bertsch, Lydia Bernhardt, and Ruth Homsey.
Memorials are suggested to the First Baptist Church, Hebron.
