Born April 2, 1943, in Eureka to Edmund and Anna Kiesewetter Nauman, he married Carol Lingel on June 7, 1930, in Winnebago. She survives.
Also surviving are his mother; two sons, Brian and Mark; one daughter, Lindsay Nauman; two brothers, Virgil and Harold; and three sisters, Eileen Nauman, Mrs. Garmer (Alda) Kleen, and Mrs. Robert (Rita) Adams.
He taught social studies at Byron High School, also served as advisor to the National Honor Society and as a former baseball coach.
