Visitation will from 12:00 noon until 2 p.m. on Saturday, November 8, 2014, at the church. The Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services is caring for the family and the arrangements.
June was born on June 22, 1934, in Canton, South Dakota, the daughter of Milton Alfred and Marjorie Lunetta Hicks Ellis. On June 26, 1955, she was united in marriage to Kirby Kleffmann in Elkton, South Dakota.
She had been employed at Muscatine High School as the attendance clerk. June was a member of Faith United Church of Christ.
June will be deeply missed by her children, Janet Kleffmann, Barbara Noble and husband, Jeffrey, Susan Muntz and husband, Curtis, and John Kleffmann and wife, Linda; seven grandchildren, Sarah Noble-Hagerty and husband, Tom, Katherine Noble, Amanda Muntz, Rebecca Muntz, Adam Muntz, Austin Kleffmann and Dominic Kleffmann; one great-grandchild, Ellis Hagerty; one brother, Duane Ellis and wife, Irma; two sisters, Betty Yeager and wife, Don, and Virginia Kurtz and husband, Raymond; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and two sisters.
