Mrs. Rebecca Himes [sic], widow of Solomon Himes [sic], died at 2 o'clock at the home of her daughter Mrs. Thomas Armagost near Reynoldsville.
She was 92 years 7 months and 7 days.
The deceased was born in this vicinity October 10, 1828 and had lived practically all her life in the county. She was greatly beloved by all who knew her, for her kindly christian character, charitableness and splendid disposition. Her death sincerely mourned by a host of friends.
Funeral services were held this afternoon beginning at 2 o'clock at the home of Mrs. Thomas Armagost and interment made at the Old Odd Fellow Cemetery at Eleanora[aka the Saint Jacob's Union Cemetery].
