R. Christopher Beaman, 43, of Nokomis died Saturday, Nov. 8, 2014.
Funeral services are scheduled for 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 13, at the Stiehl-Dawson Funeral Home in Nokomis. Burial will be in Nokomis Cemetery, and visitation will begin at 4 p.m. the same day at Stiehl-Dawson's.

He was born on March 7, 1971, in Springfield to Ronald Beaman and Rhonda (Sparks) Bilyeu. He became an operating engineer who worked for Jacob's Construction Company.
He is survived by one son, Kalab Christopher Beaman of Taylorville; his father and stepmother, Ronald and Patti Beaman of Nokomis; his stepfather Lonnie Bilyeu of Litchfield; his grandmother, Barbara Joan Beaman of Nokomis; his former wife and friend Kristin (husband James) Salmon and niece Landri Salmon of Taylorville, former wife and friend Carrie Jamieson of Nokomis; his friend Faith Chesser of Hillsboro; his former stepmother, Linda Beaman of Rosamond; three brothers, Donnie (Christy) Bilyeu of Missouri, Cory (Meghan) Bilyeu of Litchfield, and Brandon (Valerie) Frizzo of Mt. Olive; two sisters, Ashley Beaman of Nokomis and Cheyenne Bilyeu of Litchfield; and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Beaman was preceded in death by his mother, Rhonda, and his grandfather, Alvin Beaman.
Memorials should be directed to start a college fund for his son Kalab Beaman.
