The York Dispatch, Monday September 23, 1918

Glenville, September 23 – Edward W. Miller died at the York Hospital at 7:20 Sunday evening, having undergone an operation for intestinal trouble.
Surviving in addition to his wife are eight sons and two daughters. They are: Adam Miller, Glenville; John Miller, Lineboro; Pius Miller, Glenville; George Miller, Glen Rock; Henry Miller, Glenville; Noah Miller, Brodbeck; Frank Miller, Glenville; Rufus Miller, Jefferson; Lydia Miller, Glenville, and Mrs. Wilbert Bortner, Glenville.
Two brothers and two sisters, George F. W. Miller, Glenville; Noah W. Miller, Westminster, Md.; Amanda Miller, Glenville, and Mrs. David Meckley, Brodbeck, also survive.
The funeral will be held on Wednesday, September 25, at 9:30 a.m. at Jacobs' Union Church, Glenville. The Rev. John L. Guth, Jefferson, will conduct the service.
