David E. Verheyen, 63, Brillion, passed away on Wednesday, August 20, 2014.

He was born on June 14, 1951, in Green Bay to Elmer & Patricia (Reimer) Verheyen.

Dave drove semi for 25 years of his life, working for Lenertz and TTI. Dave has a daughter, Nicole Verheyen-Omdahl. On August 21, 2004, he married Sharon Philipsen-Stevens and lived in the Hollandtown area.

Survivors include his wife, Sharon; sisters, Mary (Bill) Mistel, Cheri (Jerry) Schmidt; daughter, Nicole; Sharon’s children, Stacy, Lee (Liz), Beau Stevens and Nicole (Nate) Peters; mother-in-law, Bernice Philipsen; aunts, uncles, many cousins, numerous friends and his beloved dogs, Libby and Ringo.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Elmer & Pat; brother, Jeff Verheyen; father-in-law, Paul Philipsen; and many aunts and uncles.

Visitation will be held from 4:00pm until 7:00pm on Monday, August 25, 2014, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 340 S. Monroe Ave., Green Bay, *(Monroe Ave., is closed. Access to funeral home is available off Madison St., One Block West of Monroe Ave.,)* A memorial service will be held at 7:00pm on Monday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established.
