Married Maximilian "Max" Gebhard, Count of Seckendorff. He renounced his title after the Franco-Prussian War and emigrated to the U.S., where he was the Washington bureau chief of the New York Tribune from 1883-1902 and a charter member of the Gridiron Club. He was remarried after Charlotte's death to a widow, Julia Wymen Davidson Bonner. Max died 28 Aug 1911 at the home of relatives in Frankfurt, Germany.

Death of Mrs. Seckendorff

Mrs. Charlotte Mary Seckendorff, wife of Mr. M.G. Seckendorff, the well-known Washington correspondent of the New York Tribune, died yesterday at their home, 2018 Hillyer place. Mrs. Seckendorff had been more or less an invalid for some time, and her death was the result of neuralgia of the heart. She was much beloved by a large circle of friends. She was thirty-nine years old, and leaves three children. The funeral services will be held at 1:30 o'clock to-morrow.

2. [Theodore] Waldemar (1880-1952); m. first, Bertha M. Draper; m. second, Ena Beryl Mayer.
3. Ethel Auguste (1883-1946); m. Fleming Newbold.
