Erma J. Siebel, 66, passed away Saturday, March 31, 2001 in Jacksonville, FL. She was born April 7, 1934 in Peoria, IL to the late John and Elizabeth Lane and married Robert Siebel on December 22, 1972 in Peoria. A resident of Jacksonville, FL, Mrs. Siebel worked for the Duval County School Board serving at Lee High School and was of Lutheran faith. She was preceded in death by Robert Siebel who died December 5, 1984, four brothers, and three sisters. Survivors include her two sons, Rodney Veaughn (Jody) of Bartonville, IL and Michael Veaughn (Staci) of Middleburg, FL; brother, Russell Lane of Peoria, IL; sister, Mrs. Steve Stevenson of Eureka, IL; four granddaughters; three grandsons; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Friday, April 6, 2001 at Riverside Memorial Park, with Dr. Alan Floyd officiating. The family will receive friends from 68 PM, Thursday at TOWN & COUNTRY FUNERAL HOME, 7242 Normandy Blvd. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Community Hospice of Northeast Florida.
