Brenda was a Christmas present to her parents, Forest and Laverna Soper, born on December 25th 1948 in Chief, Michigan.
On March 12th 1970, she married the love of her life and her best friend for the next 44 years, Cristobal Lopez Nunez in Muskegon.
Brenda gave birth to two kind and loving boys, Mark C. Nunez and Antonio M. Nunez and later welcomed Michael O'Brien as her third son, as well. She was a caring, generous and loyal Wife, Mother and Grandmother as well as a quiet and sensitive woman who enjoyed feeding and watching the birds, chatting to family on the web and playing with her gorgeous Grandchildren (D’Anthony M. Nunez, Carina M. Nunez and Sophia L. Nunez). She was a hard worker who never complained and remained employed as a deli clerk at Meijer for over 20 years. Brenda will be missed greatly by all of her large loving family and friends in Michigan, Florida and Puerto Rico. All of whom were lucky to have known her.
Brenda was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Arthur Soper.
She is survived by five sisters, three brothers and many in laws, Norma Schimke (Onekama), Ruth and Bob Wilson of Brethren, Evelyn Maxey of Arcadia, Linda and Doug Redman of Muskegon, Lois and Paul Schram of Elberta, Floyd and Peggy Soper of Welston, Marvin Soper of Bear Lake and Larry Soper of Clermont, Fla.
FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD 11:00 am Tuesday, November 25, at The Lakes Community Church of the Nazarene, 2270 S. Mill Iron Road, with Rev. Aaron Gregory officiating. Burial will be in Egelston Township Cemetery.
