Brittany Megan Hatfield, 26 of Simon, departed this life on Friday, November 21, 2014 from Logan Regional Medical Center.
Born January 7, 1988 at Logan, Brittany was the daughter of Abby Sowards-Hatfield-Lawerence and the late Ellery "Elvis" Hatfield (1959-2006).
In addition to her father Brittany is preceded in death by her grandparents: Bobby Sowards (Deceased) and Milton Hatfield (Deceased) and Laura Hatfield (Deceased); and her stepfather, Steven Lawrence (Deceased).
Those left to love and cherish the memory of Brittany and to mourn her passing include her mother: Abby Sowards of Simon, her 2 brothers: Ryan "Pokey" (Christie) Sowards of Oceana, Hunter Lawrence of Simon; Her sister: Jayla Lawrence of Simon; Grandmother: Margene Sowards of Simon; Nephew: Cameron Sowards of Simon, 2 Uncles: Scott (Danetta) Sowards of Oceana, and Bobby Sowards of Simon; many cousins and a host of other dear family and friends.
Friends may gather with the family on Monday, November 24 & Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at the Apostolic House of Faith at Simon from 6-9pm. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at 1:00 pm with the Rev. Todd Kenneda and Gary Toler officiatiing. Burial will follow in the Milty Morgan Cemetery at Simon.
